From Invisible Heat to Instant Insight: Building a Visual Thermostat

Introduction
We live surrounded by invisible data, but rarely do we get to see it react in real-time. I wanted to change that by building a smart thermostat, not just one that clicks on a heater, but one that visualizes the invisible rise of temperature through a synchronized physical and digital experience.
By combining an Arduino Uno with a Processing sketch, I created a “Temperature-Controlled LED Indicator with Live Visualization” that turns the simple act of a human touch into a data-driven light show.
The Vision: A Bridge Between Two Worlds
The goal of this project was to explore how a single sensor could provide two distinct types of feedback simultaneously:
Physical Feedback: Three red LEDs that illuminate sequentially as things heat up.
Digital Feedback: A sleek, screen-based thermometer that shifts color and height in real-time.
